Africa Food Show 2025: How Cape Town Became the Gastronomic Capital of Africa

From 10 to 12 June, Cape Town hosted a major event — the first Africa Food Show 2025, bringing together the best companies and trends in the food industry from around the world under one roof.

More than 350 exhibitors from 29 countries, thousands of guests, heated culinary battles and live tastings — all this made the exhibition a real festival of taste, technology and business opportunities.

Key activities

  • Africa Food Summit — a three-day business programme covering topics such as sustainable development, innovation, healthy eating, AI in manufacturing and alternative proteins
  • Live formats: Game of Chefs, Global Pizza Challenge, National Burger Challenge, South Africa Bakers Challenge — all with live cooking and awards
  • Live tastings, demonstrations, presentations of snack products and wellness innovations (including the launch of Ursu Cristiano Ronaldo water)
  • Co-located with Hotel & Hospitality Expo Africa (11–12 June) — expanding contacts in the HoReCa segment

As the official representative of Africa Food Show in Russia and the CIS countries, we organised participation and designed exhibition stands for the following companies:

— a manufacturer of high-quality alcoholic beverages, will present a line of spirits that are in demand on export markets;
— a supplier of frozen and chilled products focused on the retail and HoReCa segments;
— a manufacturer of grocery and packaging products, actively developing its international business.
